Job Summary**

Valeo Management is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Trainee to learn and assist in the upkeep and repair of our facilities and equipment. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop essential maintenance skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Job Responsibilities**

• Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs of building systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Learn to identify and troubleshoot common mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Perform basic repairs and adjustments under supervision, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and lubricating moving parts.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Participate in training sessions and actively seek to expand knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Document completed tasks and report any significant issues to supervisors.

Job Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to learn and develop a career in maintenance.
• Basic understanding of tools and their uses.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Prior experience in a related field (e.g., construction, manufacturing, landscaping) is a plus but not required.
