Summary

Design, build and support enterprise integrations, agents, MCPs and API security capabilities using MuleSoft, Agent Fabric, Wallarm, and Agentforce. You will develop and support APIs, integrations, AI agents, and MCP-based connectivity while helping implement governance, security, monitoring, and platform reliability.

You will join a team that owns the enterprise integration and agent fabric platform end to end: API development and management, MuleSoft integrations, Agentforce agent development and support, Agent Fabric governance, MCP connectivity, and API security and monitoring with Wallarm.

About the Platform You'll Work On

You will be part of the team building and operating a modern enterprise Data and Integration Platform that enables secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across applications, data platforms, APIs, and AI-powered experiences.

The platform includes technologies such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for API-led integration and connectivity, Agent Fabric for enabling, governing, and observing AI agents and agent-to-system interactions, and Wallarm for API discovery, monitoring, and protection.

You will have the opportunity to work across traditional APIs, event-driven integrations, data services, and emerging agentic integration patterns, including APIs and tools used by AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based services. You will work alongside experienced engineers to learn how enterprise integration, API management, AI connectivity, observability, and security come together as part of a shared platform.

Responsibilities

Integration and API Platform

• Build and support APIs and integrations using MuleSoft.

• Help develop reusable integration components and API policies.

• Support connectivity between enterprise systems, data platforms, and AI applications.

Agentic Platform and Governance

• Support onboarding and management of agents and MCP servers through Agent Fabric.

• Help implement governance, access controls, and lifecycle management for agent integrations.

• Enable secure agent-to-system connectivity using APIs and MCP-based patterns.

API Security and Observability

• Help monitor API traffic and security signals using Wallarm.

• Support API discovery, security policy enforcement, and investigation of anomalous behavior.

• Troubleshoot API and integration issues using logs, metrics, and platform telemetry.

Reliability and Delivery

• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation, and platform configuration.

• Support production operations and participate in debugging and root-cause analysis.

• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.

Collaboration

• Work with data, application, security, and AI teams to implement integration requirements.

• Participate in code reviews, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3+ years of software engineering, integration engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related experience , including internships or substantial project experience.

• Programming or scripting experience with one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages .

• Foundational understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication, and API integration concepts .

• Experience developing, consuming, testing, or troubleshooting APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with integration concepts such as APIs, services, messaging, data transformation, and system-to-system connectivity.

• Basic understanding of software development practices including Git, source control, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, or modern application deployment concepts.

• Basic understanding of application and API security concepts, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and secure coding practices.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing logs, API requests and responses, system behavior, and monitoring data.

• Strong interest in learning enterprise integration platforms, API management, AI-agent platforms, and API security technologies.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn from and work effectively with experienced engineers.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform , including technologies such as Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Mule applications.

• Familiarity with API-led connectivity , reusable API design, OpenAPI, RAML, or API lifecycle management.

• Exposure to Agent Fabric , AI-agent platforms, agent orchestration, agent registries, or AI governance concepts.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) , agent-to-agent communication, tool calling, LLM applications, or other agentic AI concepts.

• Experience or coursework involving generative AI, LLM APIs, AI application development, or retrieval-augmented generation.

• Exposure to API security platforms such as Wallarm or familiarity with API discovery, API threat protection, Web Application and API Protection (WAAP), or API security monitoring.

• Understanding of common API security risks, including the OWASP API Security Top 10 .

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, API keys, or other API authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native technologies.

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another major cloud platform.

• Familiarity with observability tools and concepts such as logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or scripting.

• Coursework, internships, personal projects, or open-source contributions involving APIs, integration platforms, cloud services, cybersecurity, or AI agents.
