What you'll do...

Are you a dynamic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, turns complex challenges into actionable solutions, and inspires teams to deliver exceptional results? Walmart's Last Mile Delivery organization is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations to help lead our Digital Identity team, where innovation, operational excellence, and adaptability are essential to success.

In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for driving identity verification operations that help protect our delivery ecosystem while supporting a seamless experience for drivers. You'll navigate an evolving landscape of operational challenges and emerging fraud risks, using data to uncover opportunities, solve problems, and build scalable solutions.

Success in this role requires more than managing day-to-day operations. You'll develop talent, build high-performing teams, and partner across the business to turn ambiguity into action. If you're energized by solving problems, developing people, and making a measurable impact in a rapidly growing and evolving business, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of Last Mile Delivery at Walmart.

What You'll Do

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team: Lead, coach, and develop associates by setting clear expectations, identifying skill and knowledge gaps, and creating opportunities for growth. Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and strong execution.
  • Turn data into solutions: Go beyond reporting metrics to uncover the root causes of operational challenges. Translate complex data and business trends into actionable insights, develop solutions, and measure their impact on business performance.
  • Lead through ambiguity and change: Navigate the fast-moving Last Mile Delivery environment with confidence and adaptability. Establish priorities, make informed decisions with incomplete information, and guide your team through evolving business needs while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Drive operational improvements that scale: Identify inefficiencies, anticipate challenges, and implement innovative solutions that improve accuracy, streamline identity verification processes, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Lead complex initiatives from strategy to execution: Build and oversee operational workstreams, establish milestones, align resources, and drive successful implementations. Remove roadblocks, monitor results, and adjust strategies to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Influence and collaborate across the business: Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Driver Experience, Product, and other stakeholders to solve complex challenges, align priorities, and deliver secure, efficient identity verification solutions.

What You'll Bring

  • A passion for developing people: Experience leading teams and a demonstrated ability to recognize individual strengths, identify development opportunities, close knowledge gaps, and build talent for the future.
  • A problem-solving mindset grounded in data: The ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, identify root causes, and translate insights into practical solutions that drive measurable improvements. Deep technical expertise isn't required, but curiosity and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity: A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities shift, challenges emerge, and solutions aren't always clearly defined.
  • Strong operational leadership: Experience building, improving, and scaling operational processes, leading complex initiatives, and holding teams accountable for outcomes.
  • A bias for action and continuous improvement: The ability to move from identifying a problem to implementing a solution, challenging existing processes, and finding better ways to deliver results.
  • The ability to influence and build partnerships: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders, navigating competing priorities, and driving shared outcomes.
