AI Automation Test Intern Engineer, 2027

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and agile Sprint Intern to join our team for a high-impact, short-term mission. In this role, you will focus on accelerating our AI capabilities by supporting our AI-driven tooling framework and developing/optimizing Keyboard platform AI skills .

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to work at the intersection of Embedded Software Testing (EVT), AI automation, and practical software development in a fast-paced sprint environment.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-driven tooling framework Support: Assist in building, maintaining, and refining features within our AI tool framework to optimize engineering and testing workflows.

• Keyboard platform AI Skills Development: Design, implement, and test custom AI skills and prompt pipelines within the Keyboard platform ecosystem to automate complex tasks.

• Integration & Testing: Collaborate closely with the EVT (Engineering Validation Testing) team to integrate AI tools into automated test scripts and validation pipelines.

• Sprint Deliverables: Work within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver functional code, documentation, and proof-of-concepts within tight sprint cycles.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Programming: Strong foundational skills in Python (experience with software testing or automation frameworks is a plus).

• AI/ML Familiarity: Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI agent architectures.

• Testing Mindset: Familiarity with software testing concepts, test automation, or EVT processes is highly desirable.

• Agile Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and deliver tangible results in a short-term, sprint-based schedule.

• Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
