Head of Sales

Vancouver Office, CanadaHybridPosted Oct 23
Director

As Head of Sales, US, you will own sales performance and drive revenue growth across one of PERGOLUX's largest markets, overseeing direct sales, B2B2C partnerships, and showroom channels. Based at our Canadian office in Burnaby, BC, you will lead a high-performing sales team while designing and scaling an integrated, multi-channel sales engine for the US market.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day commercial execution. You will take ownership of revenue targets, optimize sales performance, and build scalable processes that support sustainable growth.

At PERGOLUX, we design and deliver Scandinavian-inspired outdoor living solutions across 14+ countries. With premium products and an average order value (AOV) of approximately USD $11,000 in the US market, we operate in a high-ticket, consultative sales environment. Grounded in our core values of Integrity, Ambition, Innovation, Humility, Appreciation, and Unity, our team thrives on ownership, collaboration, and delivering exceptional results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own US sales performance, driving monthly revenue targets across direct sales, B2B2C partnerships, and showroom channels.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the direct sales team, including closers and inbound sales representatives, translating revenue goals into clear KPIs and individual performance targets.
  • Establish a structured weekly sales cadence, reviewing dashboards, monitoring pipeline performance, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions to improve results.
  • Track and optimize key sales metrics, including conversion rates, average order value (AOV), pick-up SLAs, and revenue per hour.
  • Lead by example through hands-on involvement in high-ticket sales, demonstrating strong consultative selling and closing capabilities.
  • Design and scale the US sales structure across direct-to-consumer, B2B2C, and showroom channels to support long-term revenue growth.
  • Build and optimize B2B2C partner models involving dealers, installers, contractors, and designers, establishing clear lead routing, pricing guidelines, and channel ownership.
  • Develop effective showroom sales processes, including lead handoffs, sales representative involvement, showroom sales performance, and channel coordination to prevent conflicts between direct and partner sales.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop sales and partner-facing talent, fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Business Development, Sales Operations, and Logistics to improve lead quality, support partner growth, and ensure realistic customer commitments.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 7+ years of experience in high-ticket sales, ideally within home improvement, outdoor living, solar, premium furniture, or similar industries.
  • 3+ years of proven experience leading inside sales teams against demanding monthly revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling B2B2C or hybrid sales models, including dealer, installer, contractor, or showroom channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven accountability for revenue targets, pipeline management, conversion rates, and sales productivity.
  • Hands-on experience managing sales performance through CRM systems and dashboards, with HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Proven consultative selling and closing skills, with the confidence to lead by example on complex, high-value sales opportunities.
  • Ability to design scalable sales structures and processes while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, with experience developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven leadership style with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and humility.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
