About the Technology Advisory Team
The Technology Advisory team empowers JLL's Real Estate Management Services (REMS) businesses – Work Dynamics (WD) and Property Management (PM) – to help enterprise occupiers and the investors, owners and asset managers we serve achieve their real estate, sustainability and technology objectives through innovative solutions and data-driven insights. As strategic partners, we identify and implement technology ecosystems that drive operational efficiency, elevate workplace and building experiences, and position JLL as the leader in technology-enabled real estate services.
Role Purpose
Turn a client's buy signal into a structured, contracted Software & Technology Solutions (S&TS) and core business technology and data products expansion inside an established JLL WD or PM account. The Technology Sales Solutions Manager is the deal leader and execution engine of the account growth function. The Solutions Manager leads the pursuit and deal team from beginning to end: developing the proposal, delivering the pitch in partnership with the Technology Advisor, leading the commercial approach and contract negotiation, and closing the opportunity through to contract. The role is measured on throughput, efficiency and quality of the deal process, and on the internal and client satisfaction that results from how the work is done. It is a deliberate business development seat – it exists both to give senior advisors a deal leader who carries opportunities to close, and to build the next generation of JLL enterprise sellers, technology sellers and technology advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the pursuit and deal team. On assignment from the Tech Sales Advisor Executive and at the request of the Technology Advisor, own the opportunity from beginning to end. Lead the pursuit team, develop the proposal and sales content, drive the pricing and commercial approach, and close the opportunity through approval to contract in collaboration with Technology Advisory – running multiple opportunities across multiple accounts concurrently.
- Pitch and present in partnership with the Technology Advisor. Develop and deliver the client pitch together with the Technology Advisor as genuine partners – one JLL team in the room. Present with credibility to audiences from working sessions to large executive groups.
- Lead contract negotiation with Legal. Lead the negotiation with Legal from first draft to signature – drive the redlines, positions and open issues so the deal closes on time, on terms JLL can deliver.
- Run the internal coordination. As deal team leader, convene and sequence the internal teams an opportunity requires – product, solutioning, content design, sales engineering, delivery, finance and account leadership. Get the price, the plan and the commitments in one place, on time and correct with exceptional quality – effectively “acing the exam”.
- Give the client continuity. Carry the deal from start to finish so the client experiences one consistent JLL team throughout.
- Work the agreed scope, and hand off well when it grows. Focus on the S&TS product area assigned. When an opportunity develops into integrated, multi-service-line scope, hand it to Solutions Development in full at the Technology Advisor's direction so it gets the right team and the best commercial outcome.
- Coordinate with Solutions Development. When Solutions Development is already pursuing work in an account, join at their invitation and agree early who leads what, so the client sees one coordinated JLL approach.
- Maintain deal hygiene. One seller of record, recorded when the opportunity is routed, with accurate CRM records, correct product attribution and complete documentation – so demand signals reach delivery, product and finance teams reliably.
- Hand off into delivery. Ensure what was sold is what delivery receives – scope, assumptions, cost basis and client commitments documented and transferred to the Service Delivery Manager and account team.
- Coach account teams on deal mechanics. Help account and delivery teams understand how the product being expanded is bought, priced and implemented.
- Partnership behavior. Operate as a partner to Technology Advisors, Solutions Development, account directors and division leadership. Internal and client satisfaction are explicit performance expectations, weighted alongside deal throughput and quality.
How Success Is Measured
Performance in this role is assessed across four areas, weighted and set annually by the business:
- Deal throughput leading to Sales Bookings – volume of opportunities carried concurrently and moved to contract on time.
- Process quality – accuracy and completeness of proposals, pricing, CRM records and delivery handoffs.
- Client satisfaction, measured through JLL's Client Voice program and its net promoter measures on engaged accounts.
- Internal partnership health across Technology Advisory, Tech Sales, Solutions Development and account leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, solutioning, deal desk, sales operations, proposal or bid management, commercial account management, consulting, or a comparable commercially-facing role.
- Direct sales experience – developing, pitching, negotiating and closing deals with clients. Deal desk, sales operations, proposal or bid management, or consulting experience complements direct selling but does not substitute for it.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a deal team across multiple internal functions to a deadline through influence and shared goals.
- Practical fluency with AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) applied to commercial work: drafting proposals and sales artifacts, running market research, and accelerating business development.
- Strong commercial literacy – able to build and defend pricing, cost assumptions and a business case.
- Exposure to Corporate Real Estate, facilities management, property management, or property technology environments.
- Evidence of personal accountability and follow-through in a complex, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRE technology platforms (IWMS, property management and building operations platforms, workplace platforms, data and analytics, smart buildings, IoT) or comparable enterprise software and services.
- Familiarity with the JLL WD and PM technology ecosystems and service delivery models.
- Experience across corporate occupier accounts and investor, owner or asset-manager-led property management accounts.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce) and comfort with forecast and pipeline data reporting and analytics.
- A stated ambition to develop into an enterprise or technology sales, advisory, or solutions development career track.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Passion to Win – competes to win every opportunity they lead and rallies the deal team around the close, measured by deals closed well, not just deals closed.
- Executive presence – credible and composed in front of senior client stakeholders and large groups, and able to lead a room of collea
