Job Description

Microsoft Finance Engineering is part of Commerce Finance Platform (CFP) team of Microsoft’s Engineering Enablement and Operations (EE&O) Organization and is focused on building Technology solutions & services that enable the Microsoft Finance Procurement and Operations Users. The team is on a mission to build and deliver rock solid engineering systems using innovative & modern technologies and processes. This requires deep technical and business expertise, customer insights, and a clear vision that comes from first-hand, large-scale experience with Microsoft and industry solutions. We are engineers, technology leaders and experts, digital transformation agents, and customer advocates who are constantly looking to improve the E2E business Experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Working hands-on with your team through design and implementation, demonstrating good engineering practices and coding along the way.
  • Sharing your work and learnings with your team, Microsoft product teams, and the OSS community.
  • Continuously improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by helping to evolve our engineering process.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, standards from security and scalability perspective to Lead and influence design decisions to build services right ground up.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies (C# and the .NET Framework), Web API, SQL Azure.
  • Candidates should have previous experience with multiple product release cycles.
  • Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, OpenSource)
  • Take part in daily scrums and weekly and monthly status meetings to represent as owner of the feature and provide status across teams

  • Designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications with a particular emphasis on pluggable micro frontend UI Architecture (interactions, styling, accessibility, etc.)
  • Must have exposure in .NET core & Micro Service based architecture application development
  • Must have worked on Cloud technologies specifically in the areas of App Service, Service Bus, Functions, Dev Ops. Database experience with either Azure Cosmos DB or Azure SQL. (preferred Azure cloud development)
  • Work independently for Design and Code reviews to ensure consistently high level of design & implementation.
  • Working with single-page architecture, front-end application using frameworks like React, Angular, redux,saga, Node.js, HTML, CSS.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline or comparable practical professional experience.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good at design patterns and their application
