RTX is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:

Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces

Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

Raytheon – Raytheon seeks a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist Skill Bridge in McKinney, Texas, to support Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit.  Responsibilities include supplier engagement, material sales, WIP status, material coverage, and OTD execution. The role requires independent work on complex tasks with minimal oversight.

What You Will Do:

Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Provide supply chain and operations support across multiple programs.

Collaborate cross functionally to manage production and delivery efforts

Prepare & Present material supportiveness metrics at monthly management reviews

Operate within SAP PRISM, KINAXIS and Power BI

Utilize supplier delivery forecasts to report sales and OTD impacts to leadership

Risk, Opportunity, and Performance Management

Scope risks in supply base and factory while developing real time mitigations

Support OTD and recovery plan strategies as needed

Qualifications You Must Have:

This position is required to work on-site in McKinney, TX.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with the ability to provide quick responses and a high degree of flexibility.

Knowledge of basic operations and supply chain concepts.

Ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Advanced computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

Budget or Cost Account Manager Experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

Prior Supply Chain or Operations experience

Experience in audit and compliance environments

Background in strategic planning with tangible results

Experience with data analytics shaped to drive real time decisions

What is my role type?

This SkillBridge is ONSITE Position in McKinney, TX

Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
