As a product team, our goal is to improve the life of our students and our tutors, drive amazing learning outcomes for our learners and enable our tutors to financially thrive through the platform. And we want to do this all while generating business value for Preply so we can help even more people! We strongly believe that we can't achieve business success without our students' and tutors' success.

You will be a valuable member of our Fintech/Payments tribe, which is dedicated to maximizing the potential of our learners and tutors by focusing on revenue growth for our Edtech platform. Together, we forge a path that not only maximizes revenue but also transcends monetary gains, with a profound dedication to empowering learners and helping them conquer their learning goals. We achieve this by enhancing our Subscription proposal, streamlining payments (pay-in and payouts), and driving sustainable growth of our marketplace.

At Preply, Product Managers have true end-to-end ownership and accountability for their product area - from defining the long-term vision and strategy to shaping solutions, driving execution, launching products, and measuring customer and business impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the squad from the Product side: As preply expands globally, we’re looking for someone who can help us grow our business within the fintech area by understanding compliance requirements, assessing priorities, and owning the roadmap, planning, and execution.

• Measure impact and manage trade-offs: Ensure we meet our compliance obligations while protecting the user experience and business performance.

• Drive the squad’s operating rhythm: Lead planning, team ceremonies, and delivery tracking to keep execution focused and effective.

• Align with leadership: Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and decisions in a role with significant leadership exposure.

• Coordinate across teams: Align the internal stakeholders and dependencies needed to launch each initiative successfully.

What you need to succeed:

• Substantial experience in product management, preferably at companies that specialize in developing products for the payments industry or individuals who have held related roles. This experience will be valuable in understanding the unique challenges and requirements of the payments industry and effectively contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

• Experience in being a hands-on leader to drive results both through direct product development and through strong end-to-end thinking and execution.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People love working with you.

• Experience building a product in a fast paced, and rapid growth environment.

• Ability to support multiple initiatives at different phases of development

• Strong eye for design and desire to create lovable experiences.

• Strong analytical abilities and live and breathe data.
