The Role

Step into the engine room of enterprise technology as our Senior Citrix Infrastructure Specialist, serving as the primary Level 3 escalation authority and technical owner for mission-critical client environments. You will ensure platform stability, performance, security, and continuous modernization across enterprise digital workspaces, translating complex operational demands into resilient, high-availability infrastructure solutions.

In this role, you will balance deep hands-on troubleshooting with strategic operational governance. You will take ownership of complex issues from diagnosis through root-cause resolution, mentor Level 2 delivery teams, and drive infrastructure initiatives encompassing patch management, monitoring, workflow automation, and cross-platform integration.

What You Will Do

• Act as the primary L3 escalation authority for Citrix and virtual desktop environments, diagnosing and resolving complex, high-priority infrastructure issues to permanent resolution.

• Maintain, secure, and optimize core components across Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud/DaaS, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, PVS, MCS, WEM, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).

• Administer and maintain core Microsoft infrastructure services, including Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and Microsoft PKI/Certificates.

• Manage enterprise profile and identity environments using FSLogix, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Kerberos, LDAP, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

• Automate recurring operational tasks, deployment workflows, and system health checks using PowerShell scripting to enhance platform reliability and delivery speed.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including Level 2 engineers, Enterprise Architects, and Project Managers—to implement complex changes, maintenance, and platform upgrades.

• Maintain rigorous operational governance through performance tuning, patch management, disaster recovery testing, and clear technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience administering, troubleshooting, and engineering Citrix enterprise technologies (CVAD, Citrix Cloud/DaaS, StoreFront, PVS, MCS, WEM, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler).

• In-depth expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory architecture, Group Policy Management, DNS, and DHCP.

• Solid experience managing user profiles and modern access methods utilizing FSLogix, Microsoft Entra ID, and secure authentication protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, SSO).

• Strong virtualization skills supporting virtual desktop and server workloads on VMware vSphere.

• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automating operational tasks, configuration management, and administrative workflows.

• Proven track record in Level 3 incident analysis, root cause diagnosis, performance tuning, and disaster recovery/high-availability planning.

• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience coordinating operations with L2 support teams and ITIL-aligned processes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Relevant professional certifications such as Citrix Certified Professional/Expert (CCP-V, CCE-V) or Microsoft Certified credentials.

• Practical exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems management and deployment tools such as SCCM / MECM or Microsoft Intune.

• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL-driven change, incident, and problem management practices.
