Delivery Driver (Full Time)

Role Overview

The Pioneer has an immediate opening at its production facility in Big Rapids for a full-time Delivery Driver . This position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight (newspapers) and delivering these bundles to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all company trucks.

• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and fluid levels are correct before operating.

• Deliver freight to proper destinations on time.

• Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo.

• Properly prepare printed products for shipping.

• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive way.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Chauffeur’s license or the ability to obtain one.

• Abide by Michigan traffic laws.

• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test.

• Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
