Staff Network Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX; San Francisco, CA; or New York, NY (onsite)
Pay: $270,000–$400,000 + bonus + equity
A high-growth AI infrastructure company is hiring network engineers to design the fabrics behind large-scale AI inference.
What you'll do
- Own data center and AI cluster network design, from high-level design to BOM review
- Design leaf-spine fabrics for front-end, back-end and storage networks
- Plan capacity and traffic engineering for high-bandwidth AI workloads
- Build labs and validate failure scenarios
- Drive network automation and observability standards, and mentor engineers
What you bring
- 8+ years designing large-scale data center networks
- Deep TCP/IP and BGP; EVPN/VXLAN
- 100G/400G Ethernet, optics and cabling
- Arista, Cisco, Juniper or NVIDIA platforms
- Python and API-driven automation
Nice to have: InfiniBand or RoCE (strongly preferred); RDMA and lossless Ethernet; SONiC, NetBox or Nautobot
