Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage B2B software team building an AI-powered compliance platform for manufacturers and retailers. You will work closely with engineers and users to turn product priorities into useful, production-ready features in the regulatory and product compliance space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Turn the product roadmap into shipped features that deliver measurable value to users.

• Talk directly with users and use their needs to shape and refine product direction.

• Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product grows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience shipping software products to end users.

• Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• A product-minded, user-focused approach, with the ability to identify underlying needs across different customers.

• Comfort using AI agents as a regular part of your engineering workflow.

• Experience in an early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML is a plus.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: €65,000 to €75,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of four days per week in the office.
