Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Maven Dental Cairns North

Maven Dental Cairns North is a busy four-chair practice looking for an experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our close-knit team on a permanent full-time basis . We've been providing quality dental care for over 30 years, and we're after someone reliable, capable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the work.

You'll split your time between chairside assisting and reception. You'll support our clinicians with a vast range of different procedures including surgical extractions, implant placements and Invisalign treatment. As part of our reception team, you will greet patients, manage appointment bookings, managing payments, maintain comprehensive patient records and complete general administrative tasks.

Applicants require

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher

• Good knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control

• Substantial experience working on reception independently

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities

• A calm, friendly approach with patients
