Audiovisual Consultant (5+ Years)

Coffman Engineers is seeking a talented and self-motivated Audiovisual Designer/Consultant with five or more years of experience to join our Seattle Area team. In this role, you will plans and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard audiovisual systems with respect to acoustical environments. Independently performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the professional work as part of a major project or for a total project of moderate scope. May supervise or coordinate the work of other professionals who assist in specific assignments.

• Degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, IT Networking, Computer Science, or other related field.

• Limited Energy Electrical License, CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certificated preferred.

• Potential for special licensing, advanced credentials, or other additional certifications preferred.

• Minimum five years of professional experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Design or AV integration.

• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.

• Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.

• Able to work independently as well as on teams.

• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.

Expected annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000.
