MRO and Operations Specialist

Job Description Summary

We are looking for MRO & Operations Specialist to support our Plant Management and Operations teams. MRO & Operations Specialist’s responsibilities vary widely from order management to event organizing and everything in between. MRO & Operations Specialist is part of the Operations Organization but works closely with the other assistants from other organizations on our Helsinki site in Vallila. The role can be further developed based on the interests and capabilities of the candidate.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Order management for indirect material, as well as related invoice management, acting as a contact person to our order management system (Coupa)

• Working closely with Manufacturing and Office suppliers

• Internal communication within Operations

• Event organization for both internal events (e.g. service years, anniversaries) and external events (e.g. customer and supplier visits): handling venues and venue equipment (IT), material preparation, ordering food etc.

• Office layout planning

• Providing support in travel arrangements and expense claims related to travel costs

• Navigating various internal systems to perform in the daily responsibilities such as IT, HR and Facility services

• Adhering to our policies and respecting and complying with our strong EHS culture

• Everything else that is needed in the fast-paced environment in this highly regulated industry

Qualifications and experience

• This role requires basic knowledge in Business Administration. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from higher education or a high school diploma with relevant experience

• Good communication and interaction skills

• Good organizational skills

• Flexibility and attention to details

• Fluent Finnish and English oral and written skills

Desirable skills

• Interest in people and the medical technology industry preferable
