Deli Assistant - Full Time

SPAR Ballsbridge require a full time Deli Assistant  to join their fantastic team.

What We Are Looking For:

- Previous deli or food service experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

- Good customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP procedures.

- Ability to prepare sandwiches, rolls, salads and other deli products to a high standard.

- Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene throughout the deli area.

- Follow food rotation, stock control and date-checking procedures.

- Ensure all food is prepared, stored and displayed correctly.

- Be punctual, dependable and flexible with working hours, including weekends.

- Take pride in your work and maintain high standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve fresh food in accordance with company standards.

- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer requests professionally.

- Keep counters, equipment and work areas clean and organised.

- Monitor food quality, freshness and stock levels.

- Follow all food safety, allergen management and hygiene procedures.

- Work closely with the deli team to ensure smooth daily operations.
