Autonomous Vehicle System Integrator
The ISR Group at Mobileye leads Autonomous Vehicle Experiments and Vehicle Technology Integration. The group is responsible for the bring-up and integration of complex hardware and software systems into autonomous vehicle fleets, the retrofitting of autonomous driving technologies, and supporting both internal and external development projects. We are looking for an integration professional with a strong technical background and excellent hands-on capabilities to lead the setup, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting of these systems throughout their development lifecycle.
What will your job look like
-
Lead and execute HW-SW integration (Bring-up), configuration, and validation for complex autonomous systems.
-
Demonstrate a deep understanding of system internals: configuration, communication networks, sensors (cameras, radars, LiDARs), computing platforms, and their seamless integration.
-
Perform hands-on work and physical installations on vehicles as an integral part of the role. Alongside system-level expertise, the work includes the practical integration of components within the vehicle environment (including wiring, soldering, cable crimping, and the use of tools) to ensure full on-site independence, real-time troubleshooting capabilities, and end-to-end issue resolution.
-
Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues in a multidisciplinary environment (software, hardware, mechanics, networking, and operating systems) and perform Root Cause Analysis.
-
Provide ongoing maintenance for various vehicle systems and offer technical support to R&D teams during experiments.
-
Develop, maintain, and utilize scripts and tools to streamline integration, testing, and debugging processes.
All you need is
-
3+ years of experience in system engineering processes, integration of complex electronic/embedded systems, and system Bring-up.
-
Proven and strong hands-on capabilities: practical experience working with tools, performing mechanical assemblies, wiring, soldering, and installing AC/DC power systems.
-
Good understanding of networking and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
-
Experience working with lab and testing equipment: OBD2, Multi-meter (Fluke), Oscilloscope, and Sniffers.
-
Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot complex, integrated systems using a structured and systematic approach.
-
High-level English (reading, writing, and speaking).
-
Prepared for international travel (several times a year) and working On-Site.
Nice to have
-
Experience in the Automotive industry.
-
Knowledge and practical experience working in Linux environments.
-
Hands-on familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay.
-
Experience developing automation tools or scripts (e.g., Python).
-
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and analysis tools (e.g., Vector).
-
Prior experience with ADAS and autonomous driving systems.
