Build the Future with Us —  EquipmentShare is Hiring a OEM Telematics Supply Lead

At EquipmentShare, we’re not just filling a role — we’re assembling the best team on the planet to build something that’s never been built before . We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

We’re hiring a OEM Telematics Supply Lead at our Corporate Headquarters in Overland Park, KS  and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

The OEM Telematics Supply Lead owns the full lifecycle of telematics kits sold from EquipmentShare to those OEMs: receiving and validating OEM purchase orders, planning kit builds with the Kitting Team, issuing Sales Orders, and making sure the right kits reach the right OEM plant on time, domestically and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers on all telematics kit orders, providing proactive, timely and professional communication.
  • Receive, validate and track all incoming OEM purchase orders, releases and changes, checking part numbers, revisions, quantities, pricing and due dates for accuracy.
  • Acknowledge and confirm orders promptly, and keep a current view of open, upcoming and past-due orders for each OEM.
  • Turn OEM orders and demand forecasts into a rolling build plan, working with the kitting team to build kits ahead of due dates.
  • Monitor inventory of telematics devices, harnesses and components, and identify shortages, demand increases and part changes early enough to prevent delays.
  • Raise risks, shortages and schedule conflicts to all affected internal and external stakeholders in a timely, clear manner.
  • Create and manage Sales Orders in the ERP system to pick, pack and ship kits against OEM PO requirements, including customer account setup and shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate domestic parcel and LTL freight shipments: choose carriers, prepare pallets and bills of lading, and expedite when OEM production is at risk.
  • Manage international shipments, including commercial invoices, tariff classification, certificates of origin and customs requirements, and ensure compliance with lithium battery shipping regulations.
  • Prioritize and resolve urgent requests, including production line-down situations, expedites and partial shipments.
  • Build and ship sample and prototype kits to support new OEM product validation and launches.
  • Prepare and configure telematics devices before shipment as required, and maintain accurate serial number and shipment records.
  • Respond to OEM quality issues, supplier defect reports and returns in conjunction with the Quality Team: coordinate root cause and corrective action, and support accurate credits.
  • Use OEM supplier portals and procurement platforms to manage orders, advance ship notices and compliance documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment without direct authority, influencing engineering, purchasing, warehouse, billing and leadership partners to meet OEM commitments.
