Position Summary...

The Manager, MRC Compliance & Technology Risk leads multiple work streams by designing and executing project plans that enhance operational efficiency and drive business results. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop innovative solutions, and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals. The manager oversees resource allocation, monitors project progress, and ensures compliance with company standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential to influence stakeholders, resolve complex challenges, and support the achievement of key performance metrics. About the team: The Reporting Compliance team at Walmart Connect ensures the accuracy and accountability of key advertising metrics by implementing rigorous audit and compliance standards. Collaborating with product, engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams, they maintain Media Rating Council accreditation and provide verified measurement to support critical business decisions. The team identifies risks, drives remediation, and continuously enhances control maturity. Their efforts enable Walmart Connect’s growth through trusted, transparent reporting that meets stakeholder and regulatory expectations, fostering reliable and scalable operational processes aligned with business objectives.

What you'll do...

This role drives the execution and growth of Walmart Connect’s Media Rating Council (MRC) compliance program. Key responsibilities include: Audit Readiness & Control:  Coordinate external MRC audits, manage evidence collection, and document complex IT, business, and operational processes. Risk & Remediation:  Identify control gaps, assess impact, and partner cross-functionally to drive and validate corrective actions. Cross-Functional Alignment:  Translate technical compliance requirements into clear expectations for engineering, product, and business teams. Program Leadership:  Support broader risk initiatives, prepare leadership-ready reporting, and manage complex workstreams with high accountability and attention to detail. SOX Integration & Alignment:  Support related compliance efforts by assisting with SOX activities ## What you'll bring...

Education & Core Experience (Required):  Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, audit, or a related field, coupled with  5+ years of experience  in IT/internal audit, technology risk, compliance, or digital advertising operations. Certifications:  Active professional certification in IT audit, risk, or security is required (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISSP, etc.). Technical Audit & Controls Mastery:  Proven experience assessing IT general controls, data flows, and system interfaces, alongside a strong track record of managing external audits, evidence requests, and corrective-action plans. Execution & Communication:  Highly organized, independent problem-solver capable of translating technical compliance requirements for nontechnical audiences, building cross-functional relationships, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $169,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
