Founding People Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI software company as its first dedicated People and Recruiting hire. You will build the hiring engine and establish the people operations that help the team grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own recruiting end to end, including sourcing, pipeline management, candidate experience, offers, and closing.

• Manage onboarding, employment contracts, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.

• Support the development of high-performing teams through thoughtful, people-first practices.

• Run day-to-day office operations and welcome new joiners and visitors.

• Set up AI agents to support sourcing, screening, and recurring workflows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, people operations, or related generalist operations.

• Early-stage startup experience, ideally with hands-on ownership during a zero-to-one phase.

• Experience managing full-cycle hiring through offers and closing, as well as onboarding, contracts, or HR compliance.

• Fluency in German and English.

• A warm, organized, reliable approach, discretion with sensitive information, and enthusiasm for building AI-enabled workflows.
