Our Solutions team sits inside R&D, between our customers and our engineers. We investigate complex customer issues across the browser extension, backend and cloud services. We find the root cause, ship the fix and close the loop with the customer. We also build the automation that onboards, deploys and supports our enterprise customers.

Make an impact on the future of browser and AI security

The browser is now where work happens, and where data leaks. Our LayerX platform, now part of Akamai, protects users across SaaS apps, websites and GenAI tools. You will own customer problems end to end, from first report to production fix. You will work with product, engineering and field teams every day. Your code and insights will shape the product roadmap.

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Investigating complex customer issues across the browser extension, backend services and cloud infrastructure

• Finding root causes in logs, telemetry and production data, then shipping and verifying the fix

• Building automation for various everyday activities and helping other teams maximize their potential

• Creating deployment tooling for enterprise environments, including MDM, GPO and mobile browsers

• Partnering with product, R&D and field teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements

• Sharing knowledge through clear write-ups, runbooks and enablement for support teams and partners

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 3 years of experience in software development, solutions engineering or a similar technical role

• Be proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript, and comfortable writing Python scripts

• Be well versed in web and browser security fundamentals, including HTTP, DNS, TLS and browser extensions

• Have experience debugging production systems on AWS and Kubernetes using logs, metrics and SQL

• Show ownership of problems, from first report to verified resolution in production

• Possess great communication skills, including explaining technical findings clearly to customers in English
