Customer Support Agent (Basque)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading airline that is seeking to onboard Basque-speaking Customer Support Advisors to assist passengers across its regional markets in Spain.

In this role, you support customers with travel-related enquiries, provide clear information about airline services and policies, and help resolve issues throughout their travel journey. The ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to remain calm and professional when assisting passengers with challenging situations

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Barcelona, Spain

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist passengers with flight reservations, booking amendments and cancellations

- Provide information about baggage allowances, delayed luggage and missing baggage

- Support customers with online check-in, boarding enquiries and travel documentation

- Assist passengers affected by flight disruptions and respond to refund requests

- Handle customer complaints and resolve travel-related issues in a professional manner

- Explain airline policies, procedures and available options clearly

- Deliver a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving

REQUIREMENTS

- Fluency in Basque + English B2

- Strong communication and customer-service skills

- Ability to understand customer concerns and provide clear, helpful solutions

- Calm and professional approach when dealing with stressed or dissatisfied passengers

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
